We zoeken een ervaren IT Security Engineer voor een toonaangevend IT-dienstverlener in West-Vlaanderen. In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, implementeren en beheren van geavanceerde beveiligingsoplossingen in complexe en industriële omgevingen. Je werkt aan kritieke infrastructuurprojecten, voert beveiligingsaudits uit, identificeert kwetsbaarheden en implementeert mitigaties. Je bent de technische expert die organisaties helpt hun IT-systemen tegen moderne bedreigingen te beschermen en compliance-vereisten na te leven.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Ontwerpen en implementeren van beveiligingsarchitecturen voor complexe industriële netwerken en IT-systemen
  • Uitvoeren van beveiligingsaudits, penetratietests en kwetsbaarheidsbeoordelingen
  • Beheren van firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPN's en andere beveiligingsapparatuur
  • Monitoren van beveiligingsgebeurtenissen, analyseren van logs en reageren op incidenten
  • Implementeren van beveiligingsbeleid en best practices conform industriële normen en regelgeving
  • Samenwerken met IT-teams en klanten om beveiligingsvereisten te definiëren en op te lossen
  • Bijhouden van de laatste bedreigingslandschap en beveiligingstrends
  • Documenteren van beveiligingsconfiguraties en procedures

Profiel van de kandidaat

We zoeken een beveiligingsprofessional met diepgaande technische kennis en praktische ervaring in het beveiligen van complexe omgevingen. Je bent een probleemoplosser die goed onder druk werkt, communicatief sterk bent en je kunt aanpassen aan diverse technologieën en industrieën. Je hebt een sterke ethische instelling en bent gedreven door het beschermen van kritieke systemen.

Ervaring en expertise vereist:

  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in IT-security of gerelateerde rollen
  • Grondige kennis van netwerkbeveiliging, firewalls
  • Ervaring met beveiligingstools zoals SIEM, IDS/IPS en vulnerability scanners
  • Kennis van industriële controle- en SCADA-systemen is een voordeel
  • Certificeringen zoals CISSP, CEH, OSCP of gelijkwaardig zijn gewenst
  • Ervaring met Linux en Windows-beveiligingsconfiguratie
  • Begrip van compliance-frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443)

Als IT Security Engineer draag je rechtstreeks bij aan het beschermen van kritieke bedrijfsinfrastructuur en gegevens. Je succes wordt gemeten aan de implementatie van robuuste beveiligingsoplossingen, het voorkomen van incidenten en het handhaven van hoge beveiligingsnormen in complexe omgevingen.
