Director - Spending Efficiency
Within the Procurement at a leading global consulting firm, you will be tasked with overseeing and directing engagements aimed at assisting clients in optimizing their procurement function, enhancing savings, mitigating risks, and elevating supplier performance. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with project teams and clients to provide innovative solutions spanning various procurement areas, such as strategic sourcing, category management, contract management, supplier relationship management, and procurement technology
As a Director, your role involves being an integral part of a team focused on addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities at this management level include:
- Leading teams of consultants and subject matter experts to conduct supply chain analyses, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
- Collaborating with clients' internal stakeholders, including procurement, logistics, and operations teams, to align priorities and achieve shared objectives.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Developing and implementing vendor management processes to streamline supplier selection, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
- Implementing change management processes to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and technologies. Managing and mentoring team members to ensure the successful execution of initiatives and projects.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others.
- Knowledge of procurement industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience in procurement technology and digital procurement solutions.

Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in Supply Chain Spending Efficiency, with a focus on consulting services.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise recommendations.
