Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Als Chief Financial Officer ben je een onmisbaar lid van het directieteam en heb je een sleutelrol in de strategische besluitvorming van de organisatie. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het uittekenen, implementeren en opvolgen van het financieel beleid, het risicobeheer en de optimalisatie van financiële processen. In deze rol zorg je voor betrouwbare financiële rapportering, beheer je het budget en bewaak je de forecasting voor de gehele onderneming.

  • Ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van een strategisch financieel beleid dat bijdraagt aan de groeidoelstellingen van de organisatie.
  • Leidinggeven aan het interne financiële team en zorgen voor een heldere, vlotte samenwerking.
  • Bewaken van budgetten, financiële performance en risicobeheer.
  • Adviseren van de CEO en Raad van Bestuur op basis van cijfermatige analyses, scenario’s en trends.
  • Continu optimaliseren van interne processen en systemen op het gebied van finance, controlling en rapportering.
  • Onderhouden van relaties met banken, investeerders en auditors om de financiële positie optimaal te waarborgen.
  • Stimuleren van digitale transformatie binnen de financiële afdeling.
  • Zorgen voor naleving van de corporate governance en compliance-standaarden binnen de organisatie.

Je staat in voor een vlotte overdracht en kennisoverdracht door nauwe samenwerking met de huidige CFO tijdens een overgangsperiode. Deze positie biedt een brede scope met zowel lokale als internationale verantwoordelijkheden binnen een dynamisch en ambitieus bedrijfsklimaat.

  • Talenkennis: Nederlands, Frans, Engels; noties van het Duits vormen een pluspunt.
  • Mobiliteit: Beschikbaarheid voor overlegmomenten in binnen- en buitenland waar nodig.

Als CFO heb je een centrale rol en impacteer je rechtstreeks het succes en de continuïteit van de organisatie.

  • Academische achtergrond: U beschikt over een masterdiploma in financiën, economie of bedrijfsbeheer en heeft zich bewezen in een leidinggevende financiële functie.
  • Analytisch talent & strategisch inzicht: U bent uitermate sterk in financiële planning, budgettering en analyse. U weet draagvlak te creëren voor een langetermijnvisie en bent vertrouwd met risicobeheer.
  • Leiderschap en people management: U begeleidt teams met visie en empathie. U vertrouwt op uw besluitvaardigheid en straalt vertrouwen uit naar medewerkers, directie en stakeholders.
  • Taalvaardigheid: U voelt zich als een vis in het water in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels – zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Kennis van het Duits is een extra troef.
  • Stakeholdermanagement: U bouwt gemakkelijk relaties op met interne én externe partners, zoals banken, investeerders en auditors.
  • Digitale transformatie: U staat open voor innovatie en digitalisering van processen, en weet technologie in te zetten voor meer efficiëntie.
  • Integriteit: U treedt op met de hoogste mate van confidentialiteit, professionaliteit en gevoel voor corporate governance.

We are partnering with a well-established international group to appoint a Group Financial Controller overseeing a portfolio of entities across Africa.Based in Dubai and reporting to the Group Finance Director, this role plays a critical part in safeguarding financial integrity across multiple countries and entities.
