Neem het stuur in handen als Category Team Lead. Je krijgt het volledige eigenaarschap over onze kritieke inkoopcategorieën en leidt een gedreven team van twee buyers. Als ervaren strateeg sla je de brug tussen innovatie (R&D) en uitvoering (Operations). Een uitdagende rol waar strategie, people management en technische passie samenkomen onder de vleugels van onze Purchasing Manager.


Je verantwoordelijkheden

  • Categorystrategie: Je ontwikkelt een meerjarenstrategie voor Metal & Non-Metal Parts, gericht op kostenoptimalisatie en kwaliteitsverbetering.
  • Teammanagement: Je coacht en ondersteunt de Category Buyers voor metaal en niet-metaal in hun dagelijkse werking.
  • Contractmanagement: Je voert complexe onderhandelingen van A tot Z en legt langetermijncontracten en SLA’s vast.
  • Interne samenwerking: Je stemt inkoopnoden af met productie, R&D en engineering om aan te sluiten bij de productroadmap.
  • Leveranciersbeheer: Je bouwt strategische partnerships op en voorziet risicoanalyses en dual-sourcing plannen.
  • Marktanalyse: Je volgt internationale markttrends, grondstofprijzen en technologische innovaties op de voet.
  • Budgetbeheer: Je beheert het categorybudget en bewaakt nauwgezet de TCO- en PPV-doelstellingen.
  • Procesoptimalisatie: Je introduceert digitale tools en automatisering om het aankoopproces continu te verbeteren.


Je vereisten

  • Opleiding: Je beschikt over een bachelor of master in een relevante richting (bv. Engineering of Supply Chain).
  • Ervaring: Minstens 8 jaar strategische inkoopervaring, waarvan 2 jaar als Category Manager in een technische omgeving.
  • Expertise: Ervaring in maakstukken is een absolute must; kennis van landbouwmechanisatie is een troef.
  • Technische kennis: Je begrijpt productieprocessen zoals verspanen, lassen, spuitgieten en extrusie.
  • Leiderschap: Je bent een inspirerend leider en een sterk onderhandelaar met een hands-on mentaliteit.
  • IT-vaardigheden: Je hebt gedegen ervaring met ERP-systemen (bij voorkeur SAP) en digitale inkooptools.
  • Talen: Je hebt een uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en het Engels.
