Key Account Manager
Position Overview:
This senior role is responsible for overseeing key account management within the sales function, providing strategic direction for major client accounts, and leading initiatives related to business development and market expansion. The position also collaborates with technical and engineering teams, particularly in drilling engineering projects, to ensure the alignment of service delivery and client requirements. The role encompasses end-to-end management of client relationships, the identification of new business opportunities, and maintaining comprehensive reporting for ongoing and prospective projects.
Key Functions and Responsibilities:
- Key Account Handling: Oversee and manage strategic accounts, ensuring delivery of tailored solutions and achieving long-term account objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets to support the organization’s growth objectives. Conduct detailed market and competitive analyses to inform expansion activities.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty, address concerns, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Drilling Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with mid-level drilling engineering teams to align technical project execution with client requirements and account objectives, ensuring efficient communication between commercial and engineering divisions.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive account plans tailored to each major client, focusing on retention, upselling, and revenue growth.
- Business Development Strategy: Design and execute effective business development strategies to secure new accounts and expand the organization’s portfolio within the oil & gas sector.
- Revenue Forecasting & Reporting: Compile accurate revenue forecasts and maintain reporting on account performance, pipeline activity, and market trends for leadership review.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Support the negotiation and management of client contracts in collaboration with internal legal and compliance teams, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Client Retention & Team Coordination: Implement client retention programs and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and efficient service to key accounts.

Languages:
- Native or full professional proficiency in English
