Beschrijving van de Functie

Als Business Intelligence Analyst ben je de brug tussen de business en het technische BI-team. Je vertaalt complexe bedrijfsbehoeften in heldere, inzichtelijke visualisaties en rapporten die managers en stakeholders helpen betere beslissingen te nemen.

In deze rol draag je direct bij aan betere bedrijfsbeslissingen door data toegankelijk en begrijpelijk te maken. Je succes wordt gemeten aan de kwaliteit van je rapportages, de tevredenheid van eindgebruikers en je vermogen om het BI-team voortdurend te versterken.

Je werkt met grote hoeveelheden data, identificeert relevante datavelden, begrijpt de samenhang tussen systemen en creëert dashboards en rapportages die niet alleen technisch correct zijn, maar ook visueel aantrekkelijk en direct bruikbaar. Je bent nauwkeurig, creatief en houdt je voortdurend op de hoogte van de nieuwste Power BI-functies om onze rapportages steeds beter te maken.


Belangrijkste Verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Identificatie en analyse van business requirements en deze vertalen naar effectieve visualisaties en rapporten
  • Identificeren van benodigde datavelden in bronsystemen, incl. definities, business rules en uitzonderingen
  • Identificeren van de samenhang tussen systemen en datavelden, en onderbouwen hoe de data gekoppeld moet worden door het BI-team.
  • Testen en valideren van rapportages en dashboards
  • Verbeteren van rapportages en dashboards o.b.v. feedback van eindgebruikers
  • Trainen van eindgebruikers
  • Bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van het team door het delen van jouw kennis en ervaring


Profiel van de Kandidaat

Wij zoeken een analytische professional met sterke communicatieve vaardigheden die complexe datavraagstukken snel doorgrond en nauwkeurig kan vertalen naar heldere businessbehoeften.

Je bent iemand die gemakkelijk kan schakelen tussen business-taal en technische details, die zorgvuldig werkt en oog voor detail heeft, en die met creativiteit en data-inzicht rapportages creëert die overzichtelijk, aantrekkelijk en direct bruikbaar zijn voor besluitvorming.


Vereiste Ervaring en Expertise:

  • Minimaal 4 jaar ervaring in een soortgelijke functie als BI Analyst of vergelijkbare rol
  • Uitgebreide ervaring met Power BI en DAX
  • Kennis van en praktische ervaring met SQL
  • Affiniteit met data visualisatie en data storytelling is een plus
  • NL en EN, beide op professioneel niveau
