IT Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Coordinator to join our team and take charge of managing our IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and ensuring our technology resources operate at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Advanced network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with IT infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
- Expertise in hardware and software installation/maintenance.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Workspace).
Cloud Platforms:
- Advanced configuration of Azure cloud services (including AD Connect, Intune).
- Comprehensive management of AWS infrastructure.
- Google Workspace administration and integration.
- Cloud migration and hybrid cloud architecture design.
- Implementation of cloud security best practices.
- Cost optimization and resource management.
Netgate Security Appliances:
- Proficiency in pfSense and OPNsense firewall configurations.
- Advanced packet filtering and network segmentation.
- VPN tunnel configuration and management.
- Intrusion detection and prevention system (IDS/IPS) setup.
- Advanced firewall rule creation and management.
- Network traffic analysis and security monitoring.
IPBX and SIP Trunk Systems:
- Avaya IP Office and Communication Manager expertise.
- SIP trunk configuration and troubleshooting.
- Voice over IP (VoIP) system design and implementation.
- Call routing and dial plan management.
- Integration of telephony systems with network infrastructure.
- Configuring unified communications platforms.
Networking and Site-to-Site VPN:
- IPsec and SSL VPN configuration.
- Network segmentation and VLAN design.
- Multi-site network architecture planning.
- Secure tunnel establishment between distributed networks.
- Performance optimization of site-to-site connections.
- Implementing redundant and failover VPN solutions.
System Administration:
- Configure and manage Active Directory.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols.
- Perform system upgrades and patch management.
- Manage user access controls and permissions.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
Technical Support:
- Provide first and second-level technical support.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Manage IT help desk and ticket tracking systems.
- Conduct remote and on-site technical support.
- Create and deliver user training materials.
Infrastructure Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and system health.
- Manage email systems and communication platforms.
- Oversee backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Implement and maintain antivirus/malware protection.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage IT service contracts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of IT support and administration experience.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when faced with technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet objectives.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security.
- Fluency in English is required; French and Dutch are a plus.
