We are actively looking for an experienced Data manager to join a very nice team of colleagues for one of our partner in the Retail industry located in Brussels. They are a data-driven company supported by a larger group with a start-up mentality.

Your responsibilities:

• Guaranteeing the accuracy, completeness and usability of all business data made available to available to customers.
• Working with the Product team to define and create new functionalities, by supporting the business with data knowledge
• Working with the technical teams on the industrialization of Data functionalities and use cases.
• Ensuring Data knowledge within the company, and ensure that this knowledge is shared with all business and technical teams.
• Defining the structure of the data used and consumed, and make the necessary decisions on the use of the data in line with business and technical needs.
• Exploring the data to identify the value that can be derived from it.
• Ensuring that the company has all the data it needs for its business uses, in particular by identifying the data that needs to be obtained and managing projects to supply additional data projects.
• Ensuring data governance, in particular by contributing to the management of the company's data assets defining roles and responsibilities, and participating in the documentation of data and the use of the use of the data catalogue tool.
