BI/Data Analyst
As a Business/Data Analyst, your primary duties will include:
- Collaborating with multiple teams to gather and document business requirements/User Stories.
- Operating within diverse database environments, such as Teradata and SAS, to create, develop, and deliver data solutions, ensuring precision and quality.
- Creating, modifying, integrating, implementing, and testing data models and database management systems.
- Leveraging advanced SQL for data analysis and conducting data mining analyses.
- Effectively overseeing data mining analyses and reporting outcomes to various stakeholders.
- Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with cross-functional product teams, colleagues, and process teams, including in virtual environments (e.g., conference calls, video conferences).
Key Qualifications for the Profile:
- A degree from a university or college in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 7 years of experience in business intelligence-related functions, including testing, analysis, coding, etc.
- 2 years of experience working in an agile environment.
- Bilingualism is an asset (English/French).
- Robust data analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to be highly creative in formulating solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages, including SAS, Oracle, and Teradata SQL. In-depth knowledge of relational databases.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Autonomous and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
