Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Telecom
We are exclusively partnering with a fast-growing regional telecommunications infrastructure group to appoint a CFO based in Dubai to lead its finance function.
Operating across multiple markets in the Middle East, the company manages critical digital infrastructure and works closely with leading telecom operators across the region.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will report directly to the CEO and will play a central role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, governance framework, and regional expansion.
The role oversees a multi-country finance organisation of approximately 20 people across the UAE, Iraq, Qatar, and Jordan, with the structure expected to grow as the business scales.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the overall financial strategy of the organisation and support executive leadership on strategic decision-making
- Oversee regional financial operations including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage and develop a regional finance organisation across several Middle East markets
- Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and reporting processes across the group
- Provide financial insights and performance analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the Strategy function, on M&A, business planning and growth initiatives
Profile:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in finance leadership roles
- Professional finance qualification such as CFA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent
- A significant experience within telecom is mandatory
- Strong expertise in IFRS and complex multi-entity financial structures
- Proven experience managing regional finance teams
- Relocators could be considered
