Functieomschrijving
- Supporting daily IT operation with servers OS, network and system administration
- Managing full virtual infrastructure and hybrid cloud
- New deployments of Windows-based architecture on virtual environment and advance network and system administration of Linux operating system
- Ensuring that IT system runs efficiently
- Monitoring the overall performance of network, servers and applications
- Ensuring that tasks are executed respecting IT security policies and best practices
- Regular review of the backup system and integrity of data by performing data restore tests
- Setting up and updating systems and business applications
- Managing inventory of licenses for all systems
- Working on an infrastructure audit project to make sure that the company is compliant with the best practices’ standards
- Providing problem solving, training and documentation for end users and IT support team
- Following IT activities within the ticketing system
- Collaborating with IT teams from other locations within the company group
- Being part of the on-call service rotation (24/7)
Profielbeschrijving
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable education background
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT system administration
- Good knowledge of
- Microsoft solutions (AD, Office 365, SCCM, GPO, Windows, Azure)
- VMWare
- Storage technology (SAN, NAS)
- ITIL methodology
- Linux operating system
- Networking (switch, firewall, and router)
- Experience with the following tools is considered an advantage:
- Cloud technologies (Microsoft AZURE, Amazon Web Services)
- Check MK monitoring
- VEEAM products and FORTIGATE firewall
- Change management
- Service-oriented mentality and good organizational and communication skills
- Intercultural management skills, open-minded attitude, and ability to think out of the box
- Fluency in English is mandatory, any other language will be considered an asset
