Data Engineer
We are looking for a Data Engineer (CDI) for one of our best clients in Brussels.
We are looking for a talented and passionate Data Engineer to drive innovative and strategic projects.
Your Missions:
Build Data Pipelines
- Develop and maintain the platform's architecture.
- Design and implement new features in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Enhance Data Architecture
- Continuously improve and optimize the data infrastructure.Ensure Precision in Execution
- Deliver tasks with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring data quality and reliability.
Understand Data Flows
- Develop a deep understanding of how data flows, is processed, and generates insights.
Stay Ahead in Technology
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and share knowledge within the team.
Your Profile:
With a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data engineering, you bring strong technical expertise and thrive in collaborative environments.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python (solid understanding of packaging principles).
- Knowledge of PySpark (distributed computing, shuffle mechanisms).
- Experience with Azure and Databricks.Professional
Skills:
- Deep understanding of data flows and the ability to translate raw data into actionable insights.
- Strong software engineering practices: version control (Git), code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, pair programming.
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.
- Precision and attention to detail in execution.
Personal Qualities:
- Autonomous, proactive, and ownership-driven mindset.
- Passion for knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Delta Live Table, Data Vault, or data modeling.
- Interest in Big Data, Data Science, Machine Learning, or Enterprise BI.
