As an HVAC & Fire Safety Design Engineer in Vlaanderen, you are responsible for the design and coordination of mechanical and fire safety systems in building projects. You focus primarily on functional safety within HVAC installations and fire protection systems, ensuring all plans comply with current regulations and standards. Using your expertise in Revit MEP and HVAC systems, you support multidisciplinary teams in producing effective and safe designs that serve both comfort and safety requirements.
- Develop detailed mechanical and fire safety layouts using Revit for new and existing buildings.
- Translate project requirements into practical system concepts and designs, with attention to both efficiency and safety.
- Perform risk analyses for fire safety and functional safety in HVAC plans, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate fire safety features into overall architectural designs.
- Support documentation and reporting, including technical drawings and compliance files in Dutch and English.
- Coordinate with installers and suppliers during implementation to resolve design or integration issues.
Daily communication and documentation are expected in both Dutch and English.

- Detail-Oriented and Quality-Driven: Highly attentive to technical nuances, ensuring rigorous compliance with fire safety requirements and complete, high-quality design documentation.
