Als Senior Consultant Tax VAT ben je een cruciaal onderdeel van ons VAT-team. Je werkt aan twee belangrijke dimensies van btw-dienstverlening: compliance en advisory. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen dat onze klanten hun btw-verplichtingen correct naleven en tegelijkertijd hun btw-positie optimaliseren. Je combineert technische expertise met strategisch inzicht, ondersteunt klanten bij het navigeren van complexe btw-regelgeving en helpt hen digitale uitdagingen aan te gaan. Je rol omvat het trainen van collega's en klanten, het implementeren van de juiste tools en systemen, en het bieden van proactief advies over btw-kostenbesparing en risicobeheer. Je zorgt ervoor dat klanten altijd up-to-date blijven met de nieuwste ontwikkelingen in btw-wetgeving en -praktijken.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Compliance-ondersteuning: Zorgen dat klanten hun btw-administratie correct bijhouden en alle verplichtingen naleven; training van collega's en klanten in btw-processen en -regelgeving
  • Btw-administratie: Gedeeltelijk of volledig overnemen van btw-administratie voor klanten om fouten en risico's te vermijden
  • Advisory-diensten: Klanten adviseren over btw-kostenoptimalisatie, risicobeheer en strategische btw-planning
  • Digitale transformatie: Klanten ondersteunen bij de implementatie van elektronische facturatie en andere digitale btw-oplossingen
  • Toolimplementatie: De juiste btw-tools en -systemen selecteren en implementeren voor klanten
  • Regelgevingsupdate: Klanten op de hoogte houden van wijzigingen in btw-regelgeving en best practices
  • Relatiebeheer: Sterke relaties opbouwen en onderhouden met klanten; hun vertrouwen en tevredenheid waarborgen

Kandidaatprofiel

We zoeken een ervaren professional met diepgaande kennis van btw-regelgeving en -compliance. Je bent een strategisch denker die complexe btw-vraagstukken kan analyseren en praktische oplossingen kan bieden. Je hebt sterke communicatievaardigheden, bent in staat om technische informatie helder uit te leggen aan diverse doelgroepen, en je bent gericht op het leveren van waarde aan klanten. Je bent proactief, nauwkeurig, en je houdt jezelf en je team op de hoogte van de nieuwste ontwikkelingen in btw-regelgeving. Je bent een teamplayer die graag kennis deelt en collega's ondersteunt.

Vereiste ervaring en expertise:

  • Minimaal 5-7 jaar ervaring in btw-compliance en/of btw-advisory
  • Diepgaande kennis van nationale en internationale btw-regelgeving
  • Ervaring met btw-administratie en -rapportage
  • Kennis van elektronische facturatie en digitale btw-processen
  • Ervaring met btw-softwaretools en -systemen
  • Sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden
  • Uitstekende communicatie- en presentatievaardigheden
