Role Overview
As the Native Digital Director of Performance, you will lead the performance marketing efforts, driving measurable results through data-driven campaigns, audience insights, and cutting-edge strategies. You will oversee all aspects of paid media, with a particular focus on native advertising platforms, ensuring the delivery of impactful campaigns that align with clients' business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies with a focus on native advertising platforms (Taboola, Outbrain, etc.).
- Align performance goals with overall marketing objectives and client KPIs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Campaign Management & Optimization
- Oversee the end-to-end management of native advertising campaigns.
- Monitor performance metrics, conduct data analysis, and refine strategies to maximize ROI.
- Identify opportunities for A/B testing, retargeting, and personalization to improve engagement and conversions.
- Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on campaign performance and recommending optimizations.
- Partner with account management teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Team Development
- Lead and mentor a team of performance marketers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Provide training on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in native advertising.
- Technology & Innovation
- Stay abreast of the latest tools and platforms in the performance marketing landscape.
- Drive innovation by integrating new technologies and methodologies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Deliver detailed performance reports to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Translate data into actionable insights to inform future strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in performance marketing, with a strong focus on native advertising.
- Expertise in platforms like Taboola, Outbrain, Google Ads, and social media paid channels.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience working in a global marketing agency or a similar fast-paced environment is highly preferred.
