Data Engineer – Breng data tot leven
Ben jij een Data Engineer die data omtovert tot waardevolle inzichten en betrouwbare infrastructuur? Voor een toekomstgerichte organisatie in Antwerpen zoeken we iemand die data betrouwbaar, schaalbaar en goed beheersbaar maakt, zodat collega’s en systemen altijd over de juiste informatie beschikken.

Wat ga je doen?
Als Data Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bouwen en optimaliseren van datastromen en -oplossingen. Je vertaalt technische uitdagingen naar efficiënte, toekomstbestendige data-infrastructuren en ondersteunt collega’s bij het ontsluiten van data voor analyse en besluitvorming.

Concreet:

  • Je ontwikkelt, beheert en automatiseert ETL/ELT-processen om data uit verschillende bronnen te ontsluiten en te structureren.
  • Je bouwt en onderhoudt data pipelines in Azure, gebruikmakend van diensten zoals Data Factory en Data Lake.
  • Je werkt met SQL Server voor het modelleren, opslaan en transformeren van data en schrijft efficiënte queries voor dataverwerking.
  • Je optimaliseert bestaande datastromen en ondersteunt bij troubleshooting van technische problemen.
  • Je draagt bij aan het automatiseren van processen met Python en andere scriptingtalen waar mogelijk.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met het Data & Analytics-team en andere stakeholders om data-oplossingen binnen de organisatie te verankeren.

Wat breng je mee?

  • Afgeronde hbo of wo-opleiding in (bedrijfs)informatica, data science of een verwant vakgebied.
  • Ervaring met SQL Server en Azure-platformen; kennis van ETL/ELT-processen en Python is een plus.
  • Analytisch sterk, nauwgezet en gedreven om te groeien in data engineering.
  • Beheerst Nederlands uitstekend in woord en geschrift; Engels is een plus.
  • Proactief, leergierig en gestructureerd; kan zelfstandig en in teamverband werken.
