Job description

Als GL Accountant bij onze internationale partner in Geel ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volledige operationele boekhouding binnen een dynamisch bedrijf in transitie. Je werkt zelfstandig en in teamverband, ondersteunt bij herstructureringen en neemt actief deel aan het overdragen van taken. Zowel junior, medior als senior accountants met sterke boekhoudkundige kennis zijn welkom.

  • General Ledger (GL): Verwerken van algemene boekhoudkundige transacties, opstellen en controleren van journaalposten, balansafsluitingen en periodieke rapportages.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Verwerking en opvolging van inkoopfacturen, betalingen aan leveranciers en bewaken van crediteurenadministratie.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Opvolgen van uitstaande debiteuren, registreren van ontvangsten en reconciliatie van klantendossiers.
  • Systeemgebruik: Dagelijks werken met SAP ECC en Arco; in de toekomst overstappen naar S4 Hanna.
  • Extra taken (optioneel): Uitvoeren van variatieanalyses, KPI-rapportering, forecasting of interne auditprojecten afhankelijk van jouw interesse en ervaring.
  • Taal: Dagelijkse communicatie verloopt vlot in het Nederlands en in het Engels.
  • Samenwerking: Nauwe samenwerking met een ervaren team en ondersteuning bij kennisoverdracht dankzij aanwezige extra krachten.

De functie omvat uitdagende taken binnen een veranderende omgeving en biedt gelegenheid om je breed in te zetten op operationeel vlak binnen finance, met ruimte voor specialisatie en het oppakken van projecten.

Profile description

Wij zoeken kandidaten die zich herkennen in een allround rol op accountinggebied en zich snel kunnen aanpassen aan veranderende situaties. Door recente herstructureringen is het belangrijk dat nieuwe collega’s veerkrachtig zijn, initiatief tonen en graag operationeel meewerken aan kwaliteit en continuïteit binnen onze financiële afdeling.

  • Flexibel en leergierig: Iemand die zelfstandig nieuwe uitdagingen aangaat en energie krijgt van een dynamische omgeving met ruimte voor projecten en extra verantwoordelijkheden.
  • Teamspeler met inbreng: Kandidaat die graag samenwerkt, vlot kennis deelt in het team én openstaat voor overdracht en nauwe samenwerking met tijdelijke extra krachten.
  • Analytisch en accuraat: Gezien het belang van het General Ledger en verantwoordelijkheden op AP & AR, zoeken wij iemand met oog voor detail en een scherp analytisch vermogen.
  • Ervaren met ERP-systemen: We verwachten een vlotte omgang met SAP (ECC) en idealiter heb je ervaring met Arco. Affiniteit of interesse in een toekomstige overstap naar S4 Hana is een pluspunt.
  • Communicatief vaardig: Je drukt je vlot uit in zowel Nederlands als Engels en voelt je comfortabel in een organisatie waar korte lijnen en heldere communicatie belangrijk zijn.
  • Honger naar kennis en ontwikkeling: Of je nu junior, medior of senior bent, je hebt solide vakkennis op de domeinen General Ledger, Accounts Payable en Accounts Receivable. Je bent bereid nieuwe tools en processen snel eigen te maken.
  • Oplossingsgericht en ondernemend: Kandidaten die het leuk vinden om verder te kijken dan de standaard accounting, en die interesse tonen in variatieanalyses, KPI-rapporteringen, forecasting of interne auditprojecten, zullen zich hier zeker thuis voelen.
