Job description

Voor een bedrijf met HQ rond Gent starten we de zoektocht naar een IT Operations manager.

Als IT Operations manager met focus op IT infrastructuur zal je takenpakket bestaan uit:

  • Een klein team begeleiden van system en security engineers
  • Realiseren en uitwerken van de integratie strategie
  • Zelf nog mee hands-on beheren en project werk leveren op de IT infrastructuur met focus op Entra, Azure, GPO's, DNS? DHCP, Exchange, O365 en Sharepoint
  • Uitvoeren van updates, patches en security configuratis
  • Op groepsniveau samenwerken met diverse teams voor de implementatie van projecten
  • Delen van kennis en "best practices" met collega's en andere teams voor een goede IT flow
Profile description

Wij zoeken een kandidaat die zich kan herkennen in de volgende kenmerken en kwalificaties:

  • Academische achtergrond: Beschikken over minstens een bachelor in ICT.
  • Ervaren professional: Meer dan tien jaar ervaring als Microsoft System Administrator, zowel on-premise als in de cloud. Bekend met het leiden van kleine ICT-teams en kunnen aantonen van people management skills.
  • Internationaal georiënteerd: Ervaring opgedaan in een internationale context en bereidheid om internationaal te reizen.
  • Sterke communicator: Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in zowel het Nederlands als het Engels, met het vermogen om collega's te overtuigen van technische oplossingen en draagvlak te creëren. We zoeken iemand die non-hiërarchisch en verbindend communiceert.
  • Technisch onderlegd: Grondige kennis van Active Directory, Microsoft 365, XDR Stack, Intune Endpoint Management, Azure AD, Entra ID en netwerk security (inclusief Fortinet en Sophos firewalls, segmentatieprincipes en netwerkbasiskennis).
  • Security expertise: Ervaring met vulnerability management (Tenable, Rapid7) en bekend met security frameworks zoals CIS18 of NIST.
  • Zelfstandig en oplossingsgericht: Blinkt uit in het zelfstandig aanpakken van problemen met een sterk probleemoplossend vermogen.
  • Kennisdeler en mentor: In staat om kennis effectief over te dragen en teamleden te begeleiden.
