Als Manager Accountancy zul je een sleutelrol vervullen binnen de accountancyafdeling in Antwerpen. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het leiden van een team van accountants en het waarborgen van de kwaliteit van alle accountancywerkzaamheden. Je werkt nauw samen met cliënten om hun financiële administratie, jaarrekeningen en fiscale aangelegenheden op professioneel niveau af te handelen. Je dagelijkse activiteiten omvatten het beheer van projecten, het toezicht op teamleden, het waarborgen van naleving van regelgeving en het onderhouden van sterke cliëntrelaties. Je bent tevens verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van nieuwe zakelijke mogelijkheden en het bijdragen aan de groei van de afdeling.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Leiding geven aan een team van accountants en het begeleiden van hun professionele ontwikkeling
  • Toezicht houden op de kwaliteit en tijdige afronding van accountancyprojecten en cliëntwerk
  • Cliëntrelaties beheren en onderhouden, inclusief het voeren van regelmatige overleggen en het aanpakken van vragen
  • Financiële administratie, jaarrekeningen en belastingaangiften controleren en goedkeuren
  • Naleving van regelgeving en professionele normen waarborgen in alle werkzaamheden
  • Nieuwe cliënten werven en zakelijke mogelijkheden identificeren ter ondersteuning van groei
  • Budgetten beheren en projectrentabiliteit monitoren
  • Medewerkers trainen in accountancyprocedures, regelgeving en best practices

Profiel van de kandidaat

We zoeken naar een ervaren accountant met leidinggevende capaciteiten die een sterke affiniteit heeft met accountancy en belastingzaken. Je bent een gedreven professional met uitstekende organisatorische vaardigheden, een oog voor detail en de mogelijkheid om complexe financiële kwesties helder uit te leggen. Je beschikt over uitgebreide ervaring in accountancy, een bewezen track record in teamleiding en een passie voor cliëntservice. Je bent iemand die zowel strategisch als praktisch kan denken, die initiatief neemt en die in staat is om onder druk resultaten te leveren.

Vereiste ervaring en expertise:

  • Minimaal 5-7 jaar ervaring in accountancy, waarvan minstens 2-3 jaar in een leidinggevende of supervisorrol
  • Sterke kennis van Nederlandse belastingwetgeving, boekhoudkundige normen en regelgeving
  • Ervaring met jaarrekeningen, belastingaangiften en financiële rapportage
  • Bekendheid met accountancysoftware en financiële systemen
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in teamleiding en personeelsontwikkeling
  • Uitstekende communicatie- en presentatievaardigheden
