Job description

Als expediteur binnen de reefer afdeling ben je verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie en administratie van gekoelde zeevrachttransporten vanuit ons kantoor in Antwerpen. Je vormt een essentieel onderdeel van het Sea Logistics Team en verzorgt dagelijks de correcte verwerking van boekingen bij logistieke partners en het nauwkeurig vastleggen van alle zendingdetails.

  • Bevestigen van boekingen met klanten en vervoerders.
  • Invoeren en opvolgen van zendinggegevens in interne datasystemen.
  • Voorbereiden, controleren en archiveren van verzenddocumentatie zoals Bills of Lading, facturen, paklijsten en oorsprongscertificaten.
  • Zorgen dat alle scheepvaartdocumentatie voldoet aan lokale, internationale en havenspecifieke regelgeving.
  • Optimaliseren van operationele en administratieve processen binnen de afdeling voor maximale efficiëntie.
  • Intensief samenwerken met afdelingen Customer Care en Douane ter waarborging van compliance en soepele documentafhandeling.
  • Bouwen en onderhouden van partnerships met vervoerders en leveranciers.
  • Ondersteunen van klanten bij vragen over transporten of documentatie.

De rol vereist ervaring in logistiek en freight forwarding, bij voorkeur in reefer, met sterke kennis van administratie, supply chain management en compliance management. Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels is essentieel.

Wij zoeken kandidaten die nauwkeurig en gestructureerd werken en zich helemaal thuis voelen in de logistieke sector. Zij nemen graag initiatief, denken in oplossingen, en zijn in staat om onder tijdsdruk de juiste prioriteiten te stellen. Idealiter hebben zij al enige ervaring binnen zeevracht, expeditie of klantenservice, bij voorkeur in koel- of farmaceutische logistiek, en weten ze in een dynamische omgeving het overzicht te bewaren.

  • Beschikken over een afgeronde Bachelor opleiding of hebben vergelijkbare ervaring opgedaan in logistiek of supply chain management.
  • Hebben een gedegen kennis van verzending, douaneformaliteiten en regelgeving rondom internationale transporten.
  • Zijn communicatief sterk in zowel Nederlands als Engels, zodat zij effectief kunnen schakelen met diverse interne en externe partijen.
  • Kunnen zelfstandig werken, maar voelen zich ook prettig in teamverband en bouwen makkelijk relaties op met transportpartners en leveranciers.
  • Staan bekend om hun klantgerichtheid en hebben een proactieve instelling; ze zijn in staat om klantvragen snel en correct te beantwoorden en denken graag mee over hoe processen efficiënter kunnen worden ingericht.
  • Beheersen de administratieve processen en hebben oog voor detail om ervoor te zorgen dat documentatie en compliance op orde zijn.
  • Streven altijd naar optimalisatie van operationele en administratieve processen binnen het team.
