Als Customs Manager ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor het Customs Departement, waarbij je leiding geeft aan de douane-experts en het documententeam vanuit het hoofdkantoor te Antwerpen centrum. Je zorgt voor een optimale personeelsplanning en volgt de operationele KPI’s nauwgezet op. Je analyseert en optimaliseert processen binnen de afdeling en implementeert na goedkeuring van de directie de voorgestelde verbeteringen.

  • Verantwoordelijk voor compliance en correcte afhandeling van douanezaken door het team.
  • Ondersteunen en begeleiden van de customer service afdeling met administratieve douanedocumentatie.
  • Bewaken van interne kwaliteitsdocumenten en gezamenlijke samenwerking met andere afdelingen.
  • Actief opstellen van doelen in lijn met het strategisch meerjarenplan en opvolgen van resultaten.
  • Up-to-date houden van rapportages aan de directie en nauw overleg met de commerciële afdeling voor klantgerichte dienstverlening.
  • Initiëren en begeleiden van verbetertrajecten en veranderingsmanagement binnen het team.
  • Faciliteren en stimuleren van ontwikkeling en groei binnen jouw team.
  • Verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor een efficiënte werkplekstrategie en faciliteitenbeheer.

De rol vereist verder een analytische aanpak, uitstekende beheersing van MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) en sterk strategisch denkvermogen. Goede beheersing van het Nederlands en praktische beheersing van het Engels zijn noodzakelijk. Je werkt nauw samen met douane-experts, warehouse administrators en het documents team voor een vlotte logistieke en administratieve flow.
