Legal Counsel – Exciting International Banking Project
Gentis is a Belgian recruitment company headquartered in Brussels and providing permanent staffing as well as project sourcing solutions worldwide in multiple sectors.
Our client is a prestigious international Bank looking for a new Legal Counsel. In their legal department, they are looking for new legal counsel to work on a new and exciting project.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and addressing Legal Issues across all departments.
- Providing comprehensive Legal Guidance to ensure operations align with the latest Laws, Policies, and Regulations.
- Ensuring the Conformity and conducting a rigorous review of existing Procedures.
- Overseeing and ensuring Operational Transparency.
- Implementing necessary Governance Requirements to maintain a robust legal framework.
This role places a special emphasis on core areas such as Compliance Monitoring, effective Team Coordination, and serving as the 1st Line of Defense in legal matters. Your ability to offer strategic insights and detailed legal counseling will be key to success.
Your Profile:
- Master Degree is a must or equivalent experiences
- You have a relevant experience in the Banking Sector
- You are a Team-player
- You are aware of Details
- You are Proactive and always think ahead
- You are willing to take new challenges and you are not afraid to go out of your comfort zone
- You are a Problem-solver with analytical skills
- You are fluent in English, Dutch and/or French
