Job description

In de functie van IT Risk & Compliance Specialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen van de digitale integriteit en veiligheid binnen een financiële dienstverleningsomgeving. Je houdt toezicht op het risicomanagement van IT-processen en voert verschillende compliance-activiteiten uit met betrekking tot onder andere ISO27001, PCI en ISAE3402-II.

  • Zorgdragen voor de implementatie en naleving van GRC-beleid (Governance, Risk & Compliance) en adviseren over verbeteringen.
  • Evalueren en optimaliseren van identity & access management processen samen met relevante collega’s.
  • Beoordelen van bestaande risico’s rondom informatiebeveiliging en het initiëren van beheersmaatregelen.
  • Uitvoeren van risicoanalyses en audits binnen de kaders van financiële risicobeheer en kwaliteitscertificering.
  • Ondersteuning bieden bij juridische compliance vraagstukken rondom beveiliging van gegevens en financiële regelgeving.
  • Gebruikmaken van verschillende risicomanagementmethodieken en tooling ter verbetering van de interne controle.

De werkzaamheden vinden grotendeels plaats in het Nederlands en Engels. Je voert je taken uit vanuit een onafhankelijke en adviserende rol richting verschillende afdelingen binnen de organisatie.

Profile description

Wij zijn op zoek naar kandidaten die zich onderscheiden door hun analytisch vermogen en een sterk ontwikkeld verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel op het gebied van IT-risicomanagement en compliance. Bij uitstek zoeken wij professionals die snel verbanden leggen, nauwkeurig kunnen werken en altijd oog hebben voor zowel details als het grotere geheel.

  • Bachelor werk- en denkniveau, met een afgeronde relevante bacheloropleiding.
  • Minimaal enkele jaren werkervaring in risk management, IT-audit of informatiebeveiliging, waardoor zij bewezen hebben complexe risico’s gestructureerd te benaderen en te beheersen.
  • Aantoonbare kennis van risicomanagementmethodieken, tooling en actuele ontwikkelingen binnen governance, risk & compliance (GRC).
  • Een brede interesse en parate kennis op het snijvlak van IT, security en de financiële sector, aangevuld met affiniteit voor kwaliteitscertificeringen zoals ISO 27001, PCI of ISAE3402(II).
  • Uitstekende beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal, waarmee zij effectief communiceren over complexe IT- en compliancevraagstukken.
  • Een scherp oog voor detail en een sterk ethisch besef in het waarborgen van informatiebeveiliging en toegangsbeheer binnen organisaties.
  • Proactief in het signaleren van risico’s en innovatief in het aandragen van oplossingen die voldoen aan wet- en regelgeving.

In this varied and stimulating role, you will work at the intersection of commercial real estate law and general commercial law, supporting Belgium's dynamic retail and services sector through a period of significant transformation. You will monitor and analyse Belgian and European legislation, translate complex legal developments into clear, actionable insights, and help member companies—ranging from online platforms to large retail chains—understand and apply new and existing rules. Your work will span commercial leases, permits, energy policies (including solar panels and charging station regulations), B2C e-commerce legislation, and digital commerce.
